We have been adding to our Poem Collection slides over this year. The idea was to have slides full of different poems around the world. It has been really fun learning the names of the different types of poems. What I would do next time is focus on one country and learn all the different types of poems in that country. Maybe you could try make your own poem collection slides.

ReplyDeleteYour collection of poems is coming along really nicely. I enjoy reading the different structures and particularly like the imagery of your haiku.
There are two things you may like to try;
Use the mote tool to record an audio of each poem and insert onto each slide, as we practiced in class.
Also two new poem formats have been added to the collection slides - a colour poem and a free verse poem. It would be great if you kept building on your collection of poems.

I really like Mrs B's suggestion of using Mote. This would make the poems really come alive - especially if you used an expressive voice.
I look forward to reading more poems as you add them.
