I chose to make the bottom of the mountain dark blue, but in the real image it is blue.

I chose to make it dark blue because I liked the look of the dark blue.

Ag Day

 

Crazy Collage

 Today we where learning how to use Lunapic. 

First you have to take a photo of your choice. 

Then you go to Lunapic. 

Once you have found one affect you like you can save then go to your google drawings and go edit paste. 

Then you just keep doing that until you are happy with how many you have got.

Craft time

Today was the last day of cooking. I've enjoyed all the cooking things that we've made. I learnt a lot of cooking tips. I learnt how to make lots of types of food. We made jelly slice for the last day. It was really easy to make it. The best part is that you get to eat your food that you made at the end.








                                                                                                                     We have also have been doing french knitting. Mine is 2 meters long. It is very fun and you never get tired of doing it. You could be french knitting for a week!

Creepy But Incredible Cockroaches

My reading group were learning about cockroaches.  Did you know that there are four different kinds of cockroach in New Zealand? Cockroaches can run up to 5 kilometres an hour. Some cockroaches can stink. Did you know the New Zealand cockroach is the stinky one?

Music Creation

Today we were learning to create our own music. It was fun to listen to our own music. We made our music on an app called Soundtrap. We to make the mood of music to match with our pictures. Our focus has been around creating music. It was challenging to find the right kind of music that matched the picture. To play the music press the sound button. Enjoy!

Crazy Pancake Flipping

This week at Tech our main focus was learning to separate the yolk from the white and flipping pancakes. I was nervous to flip the perfect shaped pancake for the first time. We had a partner each I worked with Ariki. My favourite part was flipping the pancakes. To end the cooking season we  tested some eggs to see if they were rotten, so we got to through them and smash them at wood in the compost bin. Spit splat!!

Triathlon

Last year we did a triathlon. It was fun. Some parts of it where hard and some parts where really easy. The best part was when we got hot dogs at the end.

Bird Music

Today we were learning how to make our own music. It was hard and fun to choose which piece of  music I liked. It was really fun listing to all the Music options. Next time I will choose a different type of music. To listen to my music click here.

Fungi

Today we were learning to do slow writing. You don't write slow in slow writing. Its where you write the things that it says on the list for your writing. Its really fun to do. Maybe you could try do slow writing.

What I Know About Koalas

Last term we were learning about Koalas. Our teacher decided to study them because many koalas died in the Australian bush fires. Some of the Koalas died because of bulldozer's. People bulldozed 130 acres of land, where Koala's lived.
These are the facts I dicovered.

Street Art

Today I finished my street art. We decided to do this art after we had read the poem called: In My Street.
The poem talked about a street fill of different houses, power lines, broken down cars, trees and churches.  We had to find details in the poem to include in our art.

Skipping Ainmation

Today I was learning to make a skipping animation.  I love skipping on Thursdays with Mrs Allan.
We learnt to duplicate slides using ctrl d and to move our image using the arrow keys.
The next step is to add background music to our animation.

Skipping

Today were skipping. I am not very good at it. But I perserve at it and keept trying. It was hard at the start but I slowly got better at it. It takes a little bit of practise to learn how to do skipping.

Gathering Data

Today we were learning to find out how to gather data.
I enjoyed customising it.
From my graph it looks like April,May and January was not a blogging time.
